WELCOME FROM JON SADDINGTON
Last season's top of the table clash, this season's basement battle. Its unfamiliar territory for both Darlo and Kings Lynn but I can't see either fighting relegation come April.
Both clubs have struggled for goals and form recently, but the appointments of talented young managers in Josh Gowling and Adam Lakeland will undoubtedly bring positive change to both Clubs.
The Linnets visit Blackwell Meadows on the back of three league defeats and loss to Aveley in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round, but still possess some very good players in the form of Josh Barrett, Jordan Ponticelli, and Kyle Callan-McFadden, so it'll be a tough test. There are no easy games in National League North.
A Fan's Forum has been organised for 7pm on Friday 10th November at the Dolphin Centre. Josh Gowling, Danny Rose, and representatives from the Football Club Board will be available for questions. Stuart Armstrong will compere the evening.
Questions can be submitted in advance or asked in-person. The event will also be live streamed for those unable to attend.

YOURCLUB COMPETITION WINNERS
Congratulations to Theresa Clear and Dave Mortiboys, winner and runner-up respectively in our latest DFC Owner/YOURCLUB giveaway competition!
Both Theresa and Dave won themselves a limited edition green/black YOURCLUB shirt, with Theresa also claiming a unique signed commemorative frame by Josh Gowling and Danny Rose from their first game in charge against Gloucester City last month.

DFCSG ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The AGM will take place will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 26th October 2023 in the Pease Suite of the Dolphin Centre and will be conducted in a hybrid format of a 'live' and 'virtual' meeting.

Having served for three years, four of the current DFCSG board members (David Steel, Joanne Cameron, Andrew Matthews and Liam Tinkler) are seeking re-election. In addition, we have received nominations from three new candidates: Mick Dawson, Richard Baker and Cheryl Pattison.
As the number of nominees (seven) doesn't exceed the number of available positions (eight), there will not be an election. Instead, there will be an 'affirmation ballot', whereby each candidate will be required to receive the support of more than half of those in attendance at the AGM.
DFCSG AWAY TRAVEL
Our next away fixture is at Banbury United on Saturday 21st October. As usual, we will be running a coach for supporters. The coach will depart from Park Place at 9am. The price for adult DFCSG members is £27 (£14 juniors) and adult non-members is £30 (£15 juniors).
