Welcome to Blackwell Meadows for this afternoon's match against Macclesfield FC.

The Silkmen have made an impressive start to the campaign, winning three of their opening four matches and showing why many tipped them to challenge at the top end of the table.

The additions of Christian Dibble, Fin Shrimpton, Jon Ustabasi and George Wilson have added further quality and experience to an already strong squad. Having enjoyed the upper hand in recent meetings with Darlo, today's fixture gives us an opportunity to put that right.

The opening weeks of a season are always intriguing. New signings are bedding in, partnerships are developing and teams are still finding their rhythm. What is already evident, however, is that National League North remains as competitive as ever, with every point hard-earned.

It has been a challenging start for Quakers, with just three points from our first four games. However, there are plenty of reasons for optimism. Our younger players are gaining valuable experience with every match, several key players are nearing a return from injury and there remains the possibility of further additions to strengthen the squad.

With the right attitude, relentless hard work, and your superb backing, there's every reason to believe our fortunes will soon improve.

This coming Bank Holiday Monday (31st August) we travel to Radcliffe. The coach to Radcliffe on Monday will depart at 11am. The price for adult DFCSG members is £26 (£13 juniors) and adult non-members is £29 (£15 juniors).

Our next away trap following Radcliffe is to Chorley on Tuesday 8th September. That coach will depart at 4.30pm. The price for adult DFCSG members is £26 (£13 juniors) and adult non-members is £29 (£15 juniors).
