DFCSG News - Kidderminster Harriers, Tuesday 24th March 2026

Missed last night's game or just couldn't get hold of a programme? YOURCLUB Content brings you DFCSG's programme notes from the Kidderminster Harriers game.

WELCOME FROM JON SADDINGTON

Welcome to Blackwell Meadows for today's game against Kidderminster Harriers. Our visitors arrive on the back of a mixed run of results (one win, one draw and one defeat in their last three), but remain firmly in the hunt for promotion.

They will be aiming to secure a top‑four finish to give themselves the smoothest possible route through the play‑offs.

Kidderminster's strength this season has been their defensive organisation. Only South Shields have conceded fewer goals, and they're difficult to break down when they settle into shape.

At the other end they've been less prolific, scoring 54 to Darlington's 70, but they still carry real threats. We'll need to keep old foe Amari Morgan‑Smith quiet, and we're set for a reunion with former Quaker David Davis, who made five appearances for us back in 2009 during Steve Staunton’s tenure.

David Davis

From a Darlo perspective, the aim is to build on a strong run of results that has pushed us back into the play‑off places. Recent performances have shown a more disciplined defensive structure, greater energy in midfield, and a clinical edge up front.

The lads who've stepped in during the injury spell deserve huge credit - Jonah Lowes, Ben Hedley and Ethan Fitzhugh have all been outstanding, and they've made it very difficult or others to take their shirt.

The run‑in offers both challenge and opportunity. With several games against sides in and around the top half, our destiny is very much in our own hands.

There’s still work to do, but belief is growing week by week. With your backing today, the lads will be determined to take another important step forward.

Finally, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the supporters, players, and officials of Kidderminster Harriers.
