Missed last night's game or just couldn't get hold of a programme? YOURCLUB Content brings you DFCSG's programme notes from the Chorley game.
WELCOME FROM JON SADDINGTON
Chorley are always difficult opponents and are usually in the play-off mix come the end of the season.
The Magpies have become Darlo's bogey team since our promotion to National League North. We suffered a 3-0 defeat earlier in the season with goals coming from Momodou Touray and George Horbury.
On a positive note, Quakers defeated Chorley 2-0 during the 2016/17 season with two goals from Terry Galbraith and we secured a 3-0 victory during the 2021/22 season with goals from Will Hatfield, Jarrett Rivers & Tyrone O’Neill, so it hasn't been all bad!
Regardless of the record books, I'm sure the lads will be fighting hard to put the record straight this evening.
Finally, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the supporters, players, and officials of Chorley FC.
DARLINGTON FC AGM
Darlington Football Club have announced details of their Annual General Meeting, which is to be held on Friday 28th March. This meeting is open to shareholders of Darlington 1883 Limited.
DFCSG as the majority shareholder Darlington 1883 Limited, will be represented by members of the DFCSG Board. If you have any queries about the DFC AGM, please email neil.raper@darlingtonfc.org.
HARVEY MADDEN AWARD - 2025
The Harvey Madden Award for Outstanding Contribution is presented annually at the end of each season to an individual or group who has played a pivotal role for the Club across the season.
Kirsty Madden, daughter of administrator Harvey who was a key factor in saving the Club in 2012, said: "When my dad passed away in 2015, we wanted to put something in place, not just for the glory on the field, but the glory behind the field because the club would be nothing if it wasn't for the support that comes from the stand."
Recent winners of the Harvey Madden Award have included Joanne Cameron (2024), Kevin Luff (2023) and James Charlton (2022).
We are now asking Darlington fans to once again nominate who they think would be a worthy recipient (or recipients) of the Harvey Madden Award for the 2024/25 season. You can do so via the YourClub link below:

Once all nominations are received and the deadline has passed, The Harvey Madden Award panel (made up of a mixture of DFCSG board members and DFC fans) will deliberate over every single nomination and collectively decide on who will be presented with the award for 2024/245, with the winner announced as part of the end of season awards.
