Who has been your YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of September? 🤔
The team played six games across the month, drawing twice and losing twice in the league, winning once and losing once in the FA Cup.
The month started dreadfully with a 5-0 defeat at Buxton and Alun Armstrong was relieved of his duties as manager the day after a 0-0 home draw with Boston United a few days later.
Two players made their debuts for the club in September; both loanees - David Robson, a goalkeeper from Hull City, and Jake Hannah from Middlesbrough. Both made their introductions on the final day of the month against Scarborough Athletic in the FA Cup.
Tom Platt scored his first goal for the club in the 3-1 defeat of Workington in the FA Cup and Jacob Hazel notched his first of the season in the same tie.
Three players - Toby Lees, Tom Platt and Will Hatfield- were ever-presents across the month.
