Each month and throughout the season we ask Darlington fans to vote on who has been their "YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of the Month" via a YC Poll. Who will be your choice this month?
Who has been your YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of October 2025?
The team played five games in the month - four in the league and one in the FA Cup - winning twice (Leamington away and Southport at home) and losing three times (Buxton and Radcliffe away, and Telford United at home in the FA Cup).
Only four goals were scored across the month - two from Jack Maskell and one each from Toby Lees and Max Howells on debut.
Five players started every game in the month - Scott Barrow, Elliot Forbes, Will McGowan, Cedric Main and Jack Maskell.
In transfer news, Paddy McLaughlin (York City), Darryl Ombang (Leeds United) and Max Howells (Middlesbrough) all joined the club on loan towards the end of the month. In other news, Matty KiroKiro and Liam McGrath signed dual registration terms with Northallerton and Tow Law respectively, Will Maddison joined Crook Town on loan and Tye Barton signed a permanent contract with the club.
