From ten shortlisted players, and in yet another tight vote, Will received 35% of your votes, beating Cedric Main (26%) into second place and Paddy McLaughlin (12%) into third place.
Well done to Will on winning his second Men's POTM award of the 2025/26 season!

January Overview
The team played four league games across the month, winning three times (Alfreton and Merthyr Town at home, Chorley away) and drawing once (Worksop Town away).
The team finished the month 5th in the league on 46 points, five points from 4th and four points clear of 8th.
Nine goals were scored across the month - four from Cedric Main, two from Will McGowan and one each from Tom Allan, Aidan Rutledge and Jack Maskell.
Four players started every game in the month - Toby Lees, Tom Platt, Cedric Main and Paddy McLaughlin.
In transfer news, we signed Rory Watson from York and Tom Tweedy from Burnley, both on loan until the end of the season, as well as extending Max Howell's loan from Middlesbrough by the same length. Charlie Lennon was recalled by Middlesbrough, subsequently signing for Barnsley, and Pete Jameson was recalled by Gateshead. Alfie Myers-Smith and Will Maddison had their loan moves to Shildon and Crook Town respectively extended until the end of January.
