Each month and throughout the season we ask Darlington fans to vote on who has been their "YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of the Month" via a YC Poll. Who will be your choice this month?
Who has been your YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of January 2025? 🤔
The team played five league games in the month - winning twice (away to both South Shields and Kidderminster Harriers), drawing once (home to Curzon Ashton) and losing twice (away to Leamington and home to Buxton).
Only three goals were scored across the month - two from Cedric Main and one from Will Hatfield.
Six players started every game in the month - Pete Jameson, Scott Barrow, Elliot Forbes, Will Flint, Will Hatfield and Caden Kelly.
During January the club extended the loan spells of both Will Flint (to the end of the season) and Caden Kelly (to the end of January). Alex Payne joined Heaton Stannington on loan, whilst Joe Leesley's loan at Worksop was extended another month.
Steve Watson was awarded the Vanarama National League North 'Manager of the Month' award for December during the month.
