Each month and throughout the season we ask Darlington fans to vote on who has been their "YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of the Month" via a YC Poll. Who will be your choice this month?
Who has been your YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of December 2024? 🤔
The team played four league games and one FA Trophy game in the month - winning three times (Hereford, Needham Market and Scarborough Athletic), drawing once (Oxford City) and losing only once (York City in the FA Trophy).
Nine goals were scored across the month by six different players - Will Hatfield hit the back of the net three times in five games in the month, Caden Kelly scored twice against Scarborough Athletic on Boxing Day, with Matty Cornish, Jack Lambert, Jack Maskell and Toby Lees all bagging one each.
Seven players started every game in the month - Pete Jameson, Kallum Griffiths, Toby Lees, Elliot Forbes, Will Flint, Will Hatfield and Cedric Main.
In a quiet month of "ins and outs", both Joe Leesley and Jonny Haase had their loans away from the club extended (Worksop and Bishop Auckland respectively).
