August Overview
The team played six league games in the month, winning once (Alfreton Town away), drawing twice (King's Lynn Town away and Telford United at home) and losing three times (Chorley at home, Fylde at home and Macclesfield away) as the 2025/26 season kicked off.
Ten goals were scored across the month, including one own goal - three from Will Hatfield, two for Cedric Main and one each for Elliot Forbes, Josh Scott, Ben Hedley and Jack Maskell.
Seven players started every game in the month - Pete Jameson, Ben Hedley, Toby Lees, Elliot Forbes, Will Hatfield, Will McGowan and Cedric Main.
Across the month, five players joined the club - Alfie Myers-Smith, Ellis Stanton, Dan Hopper, Tye Barton and Charlie Lennon - with Matty Kirokiro joining Newton Aycliffe on dual registration terms.
