Missed yesterday's game or just couldn't get hold of a programme? YOURCLUB Content brings you DFCSG's programme notes from the Oxford City game,

WELCOME FROM JON SADDINGTON

The Wembley dream is over for another year, but the lads can be proud of a very decent performance against a strong York City team. We matched the Minstermen for long periods, but some quality strikes put the game beyond us.

It's now time to focus on the league and pushing up the table! A decent set of fixtures throughout December present an excellent opportunity to do just that.

Today we entertain Oxford City. The Hoops were relegated from the National League last season and are finding life in National League North equally difficult. Currently occupying 19th place in the table, recent form has been poor with three league defeats in the last four.

Ex-Darlo defender Cardo Siddik features in Oxford’s squad, but is likely to be missing due to injury. Zac McEachran, brother of former Chelsea & Middlesbrough Midfielder, Josh McEachran, is Oxford’s star man and joint top goal scorer.

Our first away game of the season ended in a 2-2 draw against the Hoops at the RAW Charging Stadium. Goals from Elliott Forbes and Cedric Main put the Quakers ahead, but City equalised on two occasions. It was somewhat deflating and certainly felt like dropped two points as we travelled back from Oxfordshire. Fingers crossed we can put the record straight today.

It's great to see Jack Lambert back in a Darlo shirt, initially on a month's loan, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a longer deal. Jack is undoubtedly one of the most technically gifted footballers at this level and he seems to play his best football for Darlom so watch this space.

Finally, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the supporters, players, and officials of Oxford City.

NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Congratulations to Will Flint who was our YOURCLUB DFC Men's Player of November!

Will took 31% of your votes this month, beating Pete Jameson (21%) into second place and Scott Barrow (19%) into third place. Well done to Will on his second POTM award this season.

Look out on YOURCLUB in early-January to get involved in December’s vote.
