Missed yesterday's game or just couldn't get hold of a programme? YOURCLUB Content brings you DFCSG's programme notes from the Gloucester City game.
WELCOME FROM JON SADDINGTON
Congratulations to Josh Gowling and Danny Rose on their recent appointments. Josh was the unanimous choice of the interview panel for the position of first team manager. His drive, professionalism, social skills, and desire to succeed at Darlo, really stood out.
It's also great to have Danny Rose back at the Club. The Directors have always been impressed with Danny's character, intelligence, and approach to football. There's no doubt he'll provide excellent support to Josh.
Today's match pits 23rd against 24th and will be keenly contested, with both teams desperate to move away from the foot of the table. Gloucester City were dumped out of the FA Cup last Saturday, suffering a 0-3 home defeat to the hands of Totton.
The Tigers haven't registered an away win all season, whilst Darlo haven't won at home in the league since March. Something has got to give.
A huge thank you to Will Hatfield, Tom Platt & Jake Lawlor for steering the ship over the past few weeks. The FA Cup victory against Workington was a huge result in the context of our season.
A cup run would be massive for the Club in terms of venue, exposure, and feel-good factor. We now have the platform to progress. Well done guys.
Finally, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to the supporters, players, and officials of Gloucester City. Enjoy the game!

Don’t forget that tickets are still on sale for "An Evening With David Speedie". This special DFCSG event, to be held at The Dolphin Centre's Grand Hall on Friday 13th October 2023 (7pm for a 7.30pm start), is aimed at raising funds for the overnight stays required by the team during the season.
David will take the room through his footballing journey, recounting his remarkable path from the coal mines of Yorkshire to achieving international and Premier League football fame across the 1980s and 1990s.
Admission will be granted only to those with tickets, with attendance limited to 200 individuals. Tickets are available for purchase here.
EXETER CITY: CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF FAN OWNERSHIP
Sitting at the top of EFL One, Nick Hawker, Chair of the Exeter City Supporters' Trust, is rightly proud of their successes of the last 20 years.
"This September the Exeter City AFC Supporters' Society Ltd (the 'Trust') celebrate 20 years of supporter ownership.Naturally, there are numerous activities and events planned to honour and thank all of those who have been on the journey with us, who have and continue to contribute positively to our success. And we have been successful.
"Success can be determined in so many ways – through financial performance, community engagement and above all else, performance on the pitch.
"Whilst the Trust are very clearly the legal majority shareholders of the Club, the ownership model involves and requires a collaboration of people and organisations.
"After years in League Two, during which we constructed a new grandstand, away end, and training facility, we have frequently been asked if the club, under its current ownership has reached its peak…the best answer to which is getting promoted, which we duly did in 2021-22.
"The Club and Trust will continue to evolve and grow through dedicated volunteers, experts who give their skills free of charge for our benefit, and a steady stream of trustees, drawn from the membership who do not seek to run the club, but to guide and determine the ethos under which it is.
"Community and supporters first, sustainability critical, and strong ethics at our core".
