Worksop Town, Saturday 8th August 2026 - Terry Black

The first game that I attended was on the 26th December 1966. My Dad took me and we had seats in the West Stand at Feethams.
 
Even though Middlesbrough beat us 3-0, I caught the bug and, over the next few years, went to as many matches as I could.
 
When I was 18, I moved away from Darlington but, on Boxing Day 1999, I returned to Feethams and my passion for the club returned. I've been a season ticket holder since then.
 
I've seen many memorable games over the years, some good and some not so good, but, for me, the most memorable was the FA Trophy win.
 
Everything about that day was perfect - the official transport, the weather, the atmosphere and, of course, the last minute winning goal. What a day that was!
